Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use findmeaningfulwork.com or trabajoenbuscadesentido.com, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

  • Owner: Fundación COSO – Institute for Ethics in Communication and Organizations (IECO)
  • Address: C/ Mar, 26, 2º, 4ª – 46003 Valencia, Spain
  • Email: info@iecoinstitute.org
  • Phone: +34 963 922 947 / +34 657 746 067

2. Your quiz answers stay on your device

You don’t need an account, and we don’t collect your quiz answers or demographic details. Your results are calculated in your browser and are never sent to us or anyone else. We can’t see them.

To make the quiz work, your browser keeps:

  • your answers in progress (in session storage), so a reload doesn’t lose them. They are deleted when you finish the quiz or close the tab;
  • your latest result (in local storage), so you can come back to it on this device. It stays until you take the quiz again or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The site doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social media widgets.

The browser storage described above is used only to provide the quiz you asked for, and it never leaves your device, so it doesn’t require consent (Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act, LSSI). If we ever add analytics or other non-essential technologies, we will ask for your consent first.

4. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and technical details about your browser when pages load, and keeps them briefly in logs to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do this in our legitimate interest in running a secure site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Vercel may process this data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the safeguards the GDPR provides for (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

Fonts are served from our own domain. Links to social media are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those networks unless you click them.

5. If you email us

If you contact us by email, we use your address and message only to reply to you.

6. Data from the previous version of the site

From 2020 to 2026, an earlier version of this site let people create an account and saved quiz answers, either anonymously or linked to that account. IECO keeps that data for the academic research described when it was collected. It isn’t sold or shared with third parties, and it is stored with our cloud hosting providers. If you had an account, you can ask us for access to your data or for its deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of its processing or a portable copy, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email info@iecoinstitute.org, or write to the address above, with proof of your identity.

If you think we haven’t respected your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Children

The site is meant for working-age adults. It isn’t intended for children under 14.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
